INTERVIEW: England head coach Mark Sampson looking forward to getting started

Ahead of England’s opening Women’s World Cup match against France on Tuesday afternoon, coach Mark Sampson is raring to go and says he and his side are ‘excited’ by the challenge.

In a three part interview, Sampson discusses the upcoming game against one of the tournament favourites, how the team are preparing for the match and how he feels he was ‘born’ to manage England.

With just 24 hours to go until the opening match of Group F, Sampson also talks about how his players are feeling and believes there is still a lot more to come from his team.
