As we begin another new season at The Offside Rule (We Get It!), we are making big plans to ensure 2017/18 is the best season we’ve ever had where our online presence is concerned. We are driving forward and determined to bring more interesting and unique stories than ever to our readership.
In order to do that we are expanding our writing team once again and are looking to get new members of our team in place for June 2017. We are looking in particular for writers who bring a bit of fun/wit to their writing and also for writers who have a good knowledge of football in the following countries:

Working under/with our Head of Online, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the extensive and ever-growing writing team we have at The Offside Rule.
Main duties include ensuring the writers have a point of contact for any requests they may have, ensuring they always know when their individual deadlines and generally making sure the general editorial process is followed.
If you’re a hard-working and well-organised individual, this role may be perfect for you.
With content always on the rise when the new season starts, we’re looking to add another sub-editor to our team to work alongside our current members and our chief sub-editor.
The individual should have excellent skills and an enthusiastic attitude towards the job, plus some previous experience of sub-editing. You’ll take copy when requested by our chief sub-editor and ensure it reaches our editorial team at the standard required for publishing.
Whichever role you apply for you’ll be working as part of an exciting, enthusiastic and passionate young team who alongside our presenters Kait Borsay, Lynsey Hooper and Hayley McQueen, ensure the The Offside Rule never stops growing. You’ll work closely with the website team and the rest of the writing squad, ensuring the website continues to go from strength to strength.
