Full-time reaction to England’s 1-0 defeat against France

Whilst England were going down to a frustrating and hard-fought 1-0 defeat against one of the favourites France in their opening Women’s World Cup game, Kait, Lynsey and hundreds of other fans who had made the long journey were getting drenched in the Moncton Stadium stands!

A superb strike in the first half from Eugenie Le Sommer was enough to seal three points for France, with England never really getting going in a formation that suited defensive football to try and stifle the qualities of their opposition.

But fans were still in good spirits after the game, and whilst Kait and Lynsey were on hand to give their reaction to the defeat, so were many others.
