Postcards from abroad: What Chelsea, Manchester City & Arsenal stars have been up to over the summer

It’s been a long and arduous summer for those involved with the men’s game. Whilst the Women’s World Cup was in full flow in Canada, a few South American superstars participated in the Copa America whilst everyone else hit the beach.

For many, a luxurious trip away is standard fare over pre-season before reporting back for training at their various clubs around the country. For certain big names, pre-season is a contemplative time with many challenges ahead, including a fight for the Premier League title and improvement in Europe.
