34. Ji So-yun
There are few better players at dictating a game from midfield than South Korea’s Ji So-yun. Worryingly for any opposition that face her, Ji is probably only now reaching the peak years of her career and continues to play an influential role for Chelsea.
It’s easy to get bogged down in the goals scored by Fran Kirby and Ramona Bachmann, but Ji is the master of sitting deep and controlling a game with the ball at her feet.
She also has an eye for goal, chipping in with four and Chelsea swept most teams aside in the Spring Series and the South Korean also has a couple this season.
Ji continues to play an important role for her country too, helping them qualify for the 2018 Asia Cup.
