64. Andressa Alves

25-year-old Andressa Alves is fast becoming one of the star players in Central Europe, her class as an attacking midfielder or the ability to play as a forward makes her the perfect linchpin of a strong Barcelona attack.

Now playing in a side that can mix it with the best in Europe after key additions during the summer, Alves already has eight goals from just nine starts for Barcelona this season, beating her total tally of seven from last year.

Whilst she’s had a tougher year on the international stage with Brazil, Barcelona’s ability to get to the latter stages of the Champions League will give Alves a better chance of gaining wider recognition for her talents when 2018 gets started.

Fran Sanchez Bas, FC Barcelona manager says:

“Andressa is a really hard worker, on top of the quality she has on the ball. She’s a very good one on one finisher and she’s hard to mark for opposing players.”

Vicky Losada, FC Barcelona team mate says:

“Andressa Alves is a player with a lot of quality, character and personality. This year she has been an important player in the team, scoring decisive goals in important matches. She is an ambitious girl and dedicated to football 100%.”
