81. Tabea Kemme

A player capable of playing in defence, midfield and attack, it’s still a surprise Tabea Kemme was underused so much during an underwhelming Euro 2017 campaign for Germany.

Kemme bounced back and scored a brace in two consecutive World Cup qualifiers post-tournament, and she’s consistently chipped in with goals for Bundesliga side Turbine Potsdam throughout the year.

Kemme ended the 2016-17 season with 10 goals for Potsdam as the club just missed out on Champions League qualification, and she already has five goals this season as her and her team mates look to take the challenge to Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich again.

Elise Kellond-Knight, Turbine Potsdam team mate says:

“Tabi has a super relaxed personality which you can see in her playing style. She makes time and space around her, her shooting is accurate and consistent with both her left and right foot. She is also able to produce the spectacular.”

Adam Barlow, European women’s football writer says:

“2017 was a busy year for Kemme, both on and off the pitch. On it she hit ten goals for Turbine Potsdam during 2016/17 with 5 already to her name this year. Away from her commitments for both club and country, Kemme continued with her police training as well.”
