6. Vivianne Miedema

Top 100 2019 Vivianne Miedema

How good Miedema was at the end of 2018 almost made 2019 hard to top before it had even started, but the Dutch sensation had a real good go. Five goals in her opening five clubs of 2019 was a good start before six more finally helped seal Arsenal’s first FA WSL title in seven years. For Netherlands, she edged closer to becoming her nation’s all-time top scorer, finally breaking it and her World Cup brought three goals on the biggest stage and another major tournament final. Miedema has come out of the tournament in top form once again, with 14 goals already this season across all competitions including seven in two legs against Slavia Prague. Seven further goals for the Netherlands means Miedema has hit 20 goals for club and country since just the beginning of this season at the time of writing, incredible numbers for a striker who is scarily not even at her peak years just yet.
