25: Magdalena Eriksson
The Chelsea captain is now no doubt one of the best defenders in the world and makes a big jump up the rankings to show for it. Recently voted Sweden’s defender of the year, Eriksson led Chelsea to a league and cup double last season and rarely put aa foot wrong. Aside from being a solid defender, she’s comfortable on the ball and one of the best passers in the FA WSL, certainly of the defenders. She was rock solid in a recent match against Arsenal and it’s now no surprise to see her consistently spoken about as one of the best in the world.
