5: Dzsenifer Marozsán
Lyon and Germany’s most creative player roars back into the top 10 this year after another great year. Eight goals in a 12-month period has been a big contribution to Lyon’s dominance in 2020 once more, her performances in Europe leading her to be named the UEFA Champions League midfielder of the season. The fact her assists stats are even better than her goals show she has it all in an attacking sense. Marozsán ended last season with 13 assists and already has three goals and three assists with the new season still in its earlier stages. Unsurprisingly, she ranked in the top three centre midfielders throughout the year for chances created and she just appears to keep getting better and better. With the calmness of a more defensive duo in Amandine Henry and Saki Kumagai behind, Maro has the licence to go and unpick the defences of those teams who aim to try and stop the unstoppable Lyon force.
