88: Lia Wälti
Arsenal are simply a better team when Switzerland international Lia Wälti is in it. Wälti’s consistent performances have shown her to be one of the best defensive midfielders in Europe and her importance to the Gunners is evident when she’s not involved. Already this season Wälti is second in the whole FA WSL for both attempted passes and passed completed, only behind team mate Leah Williamson. Wälti is a player who makes the difficult look easy and her return from injury is a welcome plus for Arsenal.
