The best so far...

@StuOnSportSunderland's star striker Beth Mead has had a great start to Sunderland's 2014 campaign, netting seven times in seven appearances for the club. The prolific striker has represented England at Under 15 (2 appearances, 2 goals), Under 17's (3 appearances, 2 goals) and at Under 19 level (15 appearances, 5 goals.) She led the FA Women's Premier League National division last year with 30 goals in 28 appearances, and the year before with 23 goals in 21 appearances, in total scoring 64 goals in 73 appearances in her career. Sunderland are also renowned for producing talent, having brought Steph Houghton, Jill Scott, Demi Stokes and Jordan Nobbs through their club. The pedigree and talent is there for Mead to become an England International.

@chris_brookes – Jodie Taylor! Maybe Katie Chapman again too?

@cfraz172Gemma Davison, without a doubt , lightening speed , terrifying defenders since 2005

@GemmaCoupland – Think Remi Allen should be given a chance. She’s been great for Lincoln in past seasons & has started this year fantastic.

@Amelia_L – I think Mark Sampson should include Laura Bassett & Megan Harris in the future-two great talents in the game

@NiamhArchibald – I think Claire Rafferty because she can be deployed at either left-back or left midfield. She has speed and can ping in perfect crosses, she showed well under Hope Powell before suffering injury. I also think Katie Chapman could also play a role because she could be used as a sitting midfielder which would allow Fara Williams and Jordan Nobbs to push forward and set up scores. While I am liking the Sanderson and Duggan combination upfront I think that Rachel Williams could offer something different.

@MichelleOwen7 – Notts County player Jess Clarke deserves more of a chance. Her pace is frightening for defenders and she also knocks some great balls into the box and she has the experience too. It would be great to see her combining with her team mate Ellen White. I’d also want to play Natasha Dowie as her strike rate last season speaks for itself! Difficult decisions for Mark Sampson!

@Kelco7 – Defo Gilly Flaherty – she is a top defender and deserves her chance in an England shirt!!

@Katiemurillo – I think Jemma Rose deserves a call up, She’s been brilliant for Bristol and knows Mark’s style of play really well!

@rainedonparade – I’d like to see Martha Harris and Remi Allen in senior squad before long. Both had great seasons last time, bright talents.

Annette Reynolds – How about Dunia Susi, who is already combining fantastically with Jess Clarke at NCLFC, She has made some fantastic runs resulting brilliant Goals. Showing to be in great form and four goals already in five games in a new team line-up – time for a recall? Great to see England having an embarrassment of riches with the new players coming up too.

@njs77 – For the future Leah Williamson and Gabby George. Both shown exceptional talent at U17 Euros and for their respective clubs

@Team_Schroder – I would say Sue Smith after her performance against Manchester City

@elliehawcroft – Mark Sampson has a great set of players and a great way of coaching the players, however I think that he should involve Leah Williamson and Jess Clarke a lot more in the side. Leah has made a fantastic start to the season at Arsenal and i love her way of play, she is cool on the ball and a very intelligent player too so would give the England strikers some great service. I would love to play along side her. Jess Clarke also a great player that i would love to play along side because she brings so much energy to the side and is very pacey. She has proved in her first games for Notts County that she is also a clinical finisher so i think she would be the perfect person to fill Ellen White’s boots whilst she is injured. Beth Mead is also making a name for herself in the England u21 squad but is she the one for the job? i think she is still adapting an the first squad should wait until she’s really hit the mark.
