Tottenham v Arsenal – over 2.5 goals

This derby has provided some of the best contests in premier league history, including two thrilling Arsenal 5-2 wins and hard-fought 3-3 draws. Tottenham haven’t won this fixture since a 2-1 victory in 2013 but the game is always guaranteed goals. Arsenal ace Theo Walcott has made a strong return to the starting line-up and French hitman Olivier Giroud will cause the Spurs defence problems. I reckon this one will be a scorcher, with goals flying in. Stick a fiver on and thank me later.

Best odds – 6/5 (BetVictor). Stick £5 on this and double you money for £11.

Everton v Liverpool – 2-1 win in favour of Liverpool

In the second derby of the weekend, it should be an intriguing encounter between the Merseyside teams. Everton have struggled this season under gaffer Roberto Martinez, while Liverpool have started to climb their way up the table after some good results recently. Reds have also got free-scoring striker Daniel Sturridge back and I’d tip him to confirm his return to fitness with another goal after coming off the bench to net against West Ham. The game is always tense but I believe Liverpool will edge it.

Best odds – 17/2 (Coral). £5 returns a very healthy £47.5.

Derby v Bolton – Adam Le Fondre first goalscorer.

Cardiff loan star Adam Le Fondre will be desperate to announce his arrival to the Bolton fans. The hitman’s well known for his composure and finesse in front of goal – netting 12 for Reading to help the club to Premier League promotion in 2011 – so it’s very likely he’ll grab the opener in this Championship clash. The visitors can expect a battle from high-flying Derby but they’re on the rise after the appointment of former Celtic boss Neil Lennon.

Best Odds – 30/1 (Bet Fred). At 30/1 you can return a huge £30, it’s worth a go.

Rochdale v Leyton Orient – Leyton Orient win.

Rochdale have been a surprise package this season. They currently sit seventh in League One – just a point from the play-offs – while lowly Leyton Orient are in 23rd after the departure of former manager Russell Slade to Cardiff. The visitors will be looking to climb out of the relegation zone with a big win against a strong Keith Hill side. I’m tipping Orient to begin their revival against Rochdale stars Ian Henderson and Ashley Eastham.

Best Odds – 14/5 (Bwin) £10 can see you receive £38.

Bury v Exeter – Bury to win by 3 goals.

David Flitcroft’s men have recently snuck into a League Two play-off spot and look good enough to stay there. Ninth-placed Exeter will be hoping to close the gap on the Shakers in 7th place. Bury have a strong attacking team who’ll be out to avenge their 1-0 loss to Burton Albion. I can see them opening fire on the poor Exeter defence to keep up their bid for promotion.

Best odds – 10/1 (BetVictor). You will receive £10 for every £1 you put on.
