Burnley v Swansea – over 2.5 goals
Burnley have pulled off some impressive performances this season but none better than the 1-1 draw with table-topping Chelsea, while Swansea come into the game off the back of a remarkable 2-1 victory over Manchester United. Danny Ings has been making scoring goals look easy and will be looking to help his club climb from the relegation zone. Both teams have players capable of netting – and it’s guaranteed to be a great battle.
Best odds – 8/11 (Matchbook).
Manchester United v Sunderland – 3-1 win in favour of United
Manchester United will be looking to bounce back after defeat to Swans, with Louis van Gaal hoping to leapfrog Arsenal in third spot. Lowly Sunderland are fighting for their place in the Premier League in 16th but the United gaffer will have them fired up for this one and I believe the strikers can take advantage of the poor Black Cats’ defence.
Best odds – 13/1 (Bet Victor). £13 for every £1 you put on.
Leeds v Watford – Odion Ighalo first goal scorer
Striker Odion Ighalo has been an instant hit after grabbing 16 goals since joining Championship side Watford from Udinese. The 25-year-old will be looking to fire his team back towards the top three but they face an in-form Leeds side, who have won four games in a row. But I fancy Ighalo for the opener for the Hornets.
Best Odds – 11/2 (Coral).
Crawley v Sheffield United – Crawley win
Crawley look a different side following the appointment of interim manager Dean Saunders, with impressive League One victories recently over Barnsley and Swindon. The hosts are now looking to get out of the danger zone, while Sheffield United are aiming for promotion. Both teams will feel they can win this, but I reckon Crawley will manage a third victory in a row.
Best Odds – 5/1 (William Hill)
Wycombe v Stevenage – Stevenage to win by 2 goals
Wycombe have all of a sudden wobbled after previously looking unbeatable. They bounced back from two straight defeats by seeing off a weak Carlisle side 3-2. Resurgent Stevenage, on the other hand, have hit form in League Two under gaffer Graham Westley and are attempting to climb into the play-offs for the first time this season. I predict the visitors will go all-out in attack to secure the three points.
Best odds – 12/1 (Boyle Sport). You will receive £12 for every £1 you put on.
