Manchester United v Manchester City – over 2.5 goals
This weekend we will witness one of the biggest Premier League games of the season – the Manchester derby. The Old Trafford encounter could settle the debate over who will finish higher in the table once and for all. Both sets of fans and players alike will be up for this huge top-four clash at the ‘business end’ of the season. I can see goals in this match and it’s going to be a special game of football for neutrals whatever the result.
Best odds – 10/11 (888sport)
QPR v Chelsea – 2-1 win in favour of QPR
Chelsea still have a firm hold of the title as they currently sit seven points clear of high-flying Arsenal with a game in hand. However, Blues have faltered in recent weeks and don’t look the same team they were at the start of the season. Relegation-threatened QPR were a different side as they steamrolled past a poor West Brom last weekend. Although, I can see this local derby being a tight affair, QPR will edge it.
Best odds – 28/1 (Coral). £28 for every £1 you put on.
Bolton v Norwich – Eidur Gudjohnsen first goalscorer
Bolton Wanderers are a different team under former Celtic boss Neil Lennon in the Championship this season. Former Chelsea star Eidur Gudjohnsen has been impressive for them and he netted again in their 3-0 win over Cardiff. Bolton will be looking to surprise a few people by beating second-placed Norwich, who are aiming for a quick return to the Premier League, and I can see Gudjohnsen snatching an early goal here.
Best Odds – 10/1 (bet365).
Port Vale v MK Dons – MK Dons win
MK Dons are trying their best to keep up with Preston in League One as they bid for promotion. The visitors have had some great results in recent weeks, thanks to goals from Brentford loanee Will Grigg. While Port Vale have had a steady season, they don’t have much to play for in the remaining games. But Karl Robinson’s men are searching for another three points in their Championship cause, and I think it’ll be an easy win for them.
Best Odds – 20/23 (Paddy Power)
Luton Town v Burton Albion – Burton to win by 2 goals
Luton have had some diabolical results recently and fallen out of the play-off spots because of them. Burton Albion’s narrow victory over Wycombe at the weekend helped them to maintain their slender lead at the top of League Two. The visitors will be looking to keep ahead of second-placed Shrewsbury with a good victory here.
Best odds – 7/1 (Sky Bet). You will receive £7 for every £1 you put on.
