  1. If Manchester United wanted a women’s team, I am sure they would have one. It obviously didn’t work in the past and they appear to think it won’t in the future. I fail to see why any of this has anything to do with Tracey Crouch. This, at the end of the day, is the conservative MP for Chatham & Aylesford, who grew up in Kent and studied law at Hull University. Please enlighten me somebody! Where, in this background, is there anything to suggest that she has a clue about football? I am not saying that she doesn’t, but she certainly has no right to stick her nose into a football club in Manchester and start pontificating about what they should and shouldn’t do? Somebody once said that sport and politics don’t mix and even that corrupt organisation called FIFA hated it when governments interfered with their football teams. She should stick to what she is good at, whatever that may be, and leave Manchester United alone.
