Betting Tips: Manchester United and City to bag the goals, but more misery to follow for Arsenal and Juventus
Manchester United turned up the heat on rivals City last week, taking a valuable three points at Southampton as Pellegrini’s men surprisingly lost at home to West Ham. Both sides are under the spotlight again this weekend, whilst Arsenal will want to bounce back from a relatively disappointing 10 days.
Goals galore at White Hart Lane

City will want to bounce back from a disappointing result against West Ham and ensure rivals United don’t usurp them to top spot in the league come Saturday evening. Whoever wins, odds on plenty of goals are always a good bet where this fixture is concerned.
Best Odds: Over 3.5 goals | 13/8 (SkyBet)
Fancy a score draw?
Arsenal are coming off the back of a dismal week and it appears it’s not been a smooth ride for their manager away from the pitch too. Leicester meanwhile are on top of the world and will prove to be the latest obstacle for the Gunners this weekend.
Arsenal needs a win with another crunch game against Olympiakos midweek, followed by Manchester United at the weekend, but a score draw (repeat of last season) might be a good way to make a bit of cash this weekend.
Best Odds: Score draw | 3/1 (BetVictor)
Rooney to return to form
If anyone needs a goal right now, it’s Wayne Rooney. He’s on his longest Premier League draught ever but if there is ever a game to end that, it’s the hapless Sunderland.
The Black Cats aren’t scoring many but conceding plenty and Rooney himself ended his last draught at home to the same opposition earlier in 2015. If he scores, he could go on a run but his odds to score will probably never be better than they are right now.
Best Odds: Rooney to score anytime | Evens (Various inc. Ladbrokes, Betfred and totesport)
More misery for the old lady
Juventus has had an awful start to the defence of their Serie A crown, struggling for goals in the absence of Carlos Tevez, although victory over Manchester City will have helped confidence.
Napoli meanwhile couldn’t have started better, scoring plenty and looking flawless under new management. Juventus won’t enjoy going to San Paolo and Napoli might be a good bet to take three points this weekend.
Best Odds: Napoli to win | 29/20 (BetVictor)
Middlesbrough to end their hoodoo

Despite a dominant performance in the fixture last season, ‘Boro came away with very little from their two matches and will expect a victory at Riverside on Sunday. They’re scoring goals whilst Leeds are once again struggling and this might be the time for the jinx to end.
Best Odds: Middlesbrough to win and BTTS | 12/5 (Bet365)
