Betting Tips: Arsenal to slip up again, Chelsea to beat Manchester United and Neville to bag a first win
With the FA Cup out of the way for another few weeks, our focus is well and truly back on league football. Kurt Bristoll picks out some of the best bets across the league action this weekend.

Two sides that are currently battling for play-off positions go head to head this Saturday, as sixth placed Birmingham City host seventh placed Sheffield Wednesday. Birmingham are playing well at the moment and in their last five home games they have four wins and only one loss, which was to Bournemouth in the FA Cup. Sheffield Wednesday, on the other hand, have won only one of their last five away matches, drawing one and losing the other three. I expect this match to stick to form and for Birmingham to get the win.

Southampton vs West Ham – Southampton to win
These two sides are currently sixth and seventh in the Premier League and both will have high hopes of finishing in the top six to guarantee themselves some European football next season. Southampton have been pretty solid at home recently having won three out of their last four matches at St. Mary’s, while West Ham have had a decent season but have struggled at times away from home – they have just one away win in their last eight games. Southampton were brilliant defensively against Arsenal on Tuesday and if they can get things going in attack then I feel they will win this match.

Bournemouth vs Arsenal – Bournemouth to win
Just a few weeks ago it seemed like Arsenal were favourites to win the Premier League, but now their fans might be worried about even keeping a place in the top four. They have just one league win in their last five matches and haven’t scored a Premier League goal since their 3-3 draw with Liverpool 4 games ago. Bournemouth are on a good run at the moment – three wins and a draw in their last four matches – and having already beaten Chelsea and Manchester United this season we could see Bournemouth take three points from another big side here.

Chelsea vs Manchester United – Chelsea to win
This match doesn’t have the big game feel that used to happen when these two sides faced off. United still have a chance of making the top four whereas Chelsea are just happy to be out of the relegation fight and free to concentrate on the cups. It seems that in recent weeks we have started to see the old Chelsea again, as they’re unbeaten in nine games and have won four out of their last six. United were also impressive in beating Stoke 3-0 on Tuesday, but they have never been able to find consistency this season and improving Chelsea are likely to have too much for them at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Real Betis vs Valencia – Valencia to win
Gary Neville hasn’t had the best start to life at Valencia and is yet to win a league game since his appointment in December. But I feel he will finally grab his first La Liga win against Betis. Out of their last eight games Betis have two draws and six losses, while Valencia have won two of their last three away games, drawing the other, and have shown enough to suggest that there is hope for the former pundit yet. I think Gary Neville will finally get the three points he craves… although Álvaro Negredo needs to find his shooting boots first!
