Betting Tips: Manchester City to fight back, United’s good form to continue and Juventus to pass Napoli
Kurt Bristoll selects the pick of the odds for five of the biggest matches across Europe this weekend…

Last week Sunderland picked up a great point, coming back from 2-0 down against Liverpool at Anfield to secure a hard-fought 2-2 draw. This week they host Manchester United at the Stadium of Light and would probably take a similar result. United were unlucky to concede a last minute equaliser against Chelsea last week and will be keen to get their top four push back on track this time around. Sunderland have just one win at home in their last five matches, whereas United have three wins and a draw from their last five and will be optimistic after showing more attacking intent in the last few performances. I think the Red Devils will win this one.

Everton vs West Brom – Everton to win and over 2.5 goals in the match
After last week’s results Everton now find themselves above Merseyside rivals Liverpool and they will be looking to make sure that continues when they take on West Brom on Saturday. West Brom’s away form has been poor, with no wins in their last seven on the road, and a trip to Goodison Park will not be an easy task for them. Everton have won their last three games 3-0 and will be hoping for a similar score-line here. I expect Everton to win and for there to be a fair few goals to boot.

Nottingham Forest vs Huddersfield – Forest to win
Nottingham Forest still have an outside chance of making the play-offs – they’re currently eight points off sixth – but to have any hope of closing that gap they will need to go on a good run of form. This weekend they host a Huddersfield side that haven’t won in their last five games and have lost four in a row, while Forest themselves have three wins in their last five matches and have only conceded one goal in that time. Forest should win this one with ease.

Juventus vs Napoli – Juventus to win
The top two in Serie A go head to head on Saturday evening as Juventus and Napoli face off. Both sides go into this match in fantastic form: Juventus have won all of their previous 12 matches, while Napoli have ten wins in their last 12. A win for Napoli would extend their lead at the top of the table for five points, but Juventus have a strike partnership in excellent form and a greater array of match-winners in midfield so I expect them to have just enough to win the game and leapfrog their title rivals.

Manchester City vs Tottenham – Man City to win
With Leicester City beating Manchester City last weekend and Tottenham winning at home to Watford, Spurs have gone above City in the league and now find themselves in second place behind Leicester. Earlier in the season Tottenham beat City 4-1 and are currently on a streak of six wins in a row so this promises to be a great match. City will be looking to bounce back after Leicester put a dent in their title hopes and a win over rivals Tottenham will be a big step in the right direction as they look to close the gap on Leicester. Although the form seems to suggest a Spurs win I feel that City will win here and get their title chase back on track.
