Rich Laverty highlights the best odds to earn you some cash in this weekend’s Premier League, Bundesliga and Serie A action.
Goals Galore at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea vs Liverpool has always been an entertaining fixture and this season it’ll be played under the Friday night lights at Stamford Bridge.
The home side have had no problem finding the net, but John Terry’s absence means David Luiz will almost certainly return to the league and against a fluid Liverpool attack capable of plenty of goals themselves. They’ve already put four past Arsenal and Leicester this season so if you fancy a risk, look at backing over 3.5 goals in this one.
Best Odds: 9/5 (BoyleSports)
Premier League home treble (Leicester, Manchester City & Everton)
With Leicester looking to bounce back after a disappointing defeat at Anfield, they should still be favourites to squeeze past a solid Burnley side at the King Power Stadium.
There’s no reason to see Manchester City’s 100% start to the season stopping at home to Bournemouth, while Everton have also started the season well and have home advantage against Middlesbrough. A home treble almost looks too good to be true…
Best Odds: 2.4/1 (SkyBet)
Bundesliga quadruple (Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Leipzig & Gladbach)
Same as in the Premier League, three of the Bundesliga big hitters host sides usually found in the bottom half of the table and a home treble should almost be a banker.
Dortmund will be looking to avenge their defeat to newcomers Red Bull Leipzig, while Gladbach’s preparations have been somewhat affected by their Champions League game being pushed back a day – but all three should record wins if they’re on top of their games. You could go for a simple home treble, but if you’re feeling daring, bump up your odds by backing Leipzig to win at Hamburg.
Best Odds: 3.9/1 (SkyBet)
Manchester United to win & BTTS
A similar story to last season’s trip to Vicarage Road could be in store for Manchester United in the Sunday lunchtime kick-off.
Watford have started the season well and have shown there are no lack of goals in their team, scoring four against West Ham away last weekend. Despite a blip against Manchester City, United still look good and with Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front they themselves haven’t been short of goals.
Expect both to find the net with United just coming out on top.
Best Odds: 5/2 (Ladbrokes)
Juventus to beat Inter
Juventus have started the season in their usual imperious fashion with Gonzalo Higuain leading the charge up front. Inter Milan are still in transition under Frank De Boer and despite some eye-catching additions over the summer, Juventus are still favourites to take three points from the San Siro on Sunday evening.
Best Odds: Evens (Betfred)
