94. Leah Williamson

Top 100 2019 Leah Williamson

Another star whose first appearance in the 100 is a timely one. Diehard Arsenal fan Leah Williamson helped her side to their first FA WSL title in seven years in May and there were few who played a more important role than the 22-year-old, though her quality and ability to play for the Gunners from such a young age means it feels like she’s been around a lot longer. Her ability to both defend the space and play out from the back stands her out as one of the best young defenders around and she’s finally starting to become a more regular starter for her national team too. Her talent recently culminated in her scoring her first senior international goal against the Czech Republic and can only wonder just how far Williamson can and will go.
