14: Jenni Hermoso
Jenni Hermoso has fast become one of the top strikers in the world and rightly comes in at her highest ever ranking. 23 goals last season in just 19 league games go some way to explain why, with 11 of them coming in 2020 before the league’s premature cancellation. How many she could have got had it not is anyone’s guess and potentially scary to think about. Hermoso already has two in two starts for Barcelona this season as well as a recent hat-trick for her country. The really scary thing for defenders is she’s almost as good at creating for others too, registering six assists for Barcelona during the year, giving her a deadly but perfect combination of scoring and creative qualities in front of goal.
