The analysis of Arsenal’s Women’s issues makes many good points, but omits a key factor–Man U and City both added great leaders by example–Heath and Mewis (Chelsea does fine without adding any Americans). Both are relentless at both ends, work hard in practice, create numerous chances for teammates and play their best when the stakes are highest.

    There would be no better addition to Arsenal’s toughness than adding Julie Ertz.
