  1. Loved every minute of listening to Kelly, what she went through when in the States and how she found a way out thanks to her dad. Thank goodness there is help for these young players now who are thrust into the limelight and may otherwise have had no one to whom they can relate their troubles. What a player she was! And we may have in the future one or two in England; we have one or two promising, we can but hope, but as she told us early on, beside being a ‘natural’ she worked terribly hard playing as a kid with a pair of socks scrunched together, anything resembling some kind of sphere. That’s real hunger and a love for the game, which all the Lionesses tell the kids they must have, when advising them.
